The essence of mathematical pedagogical content knowledge (MPCK) is the conversion of academic form into education form of mathematical knowledge, which is to promote the students’ mathematical understanding, improve the students’ mathematical ability and improve students’ mathematical literacy. The mathematical knowledge in this paper consists of mathematics knowledge, general pedagogical knowledge, knowledge about the students and educational technology.MPCK of undergraduates is directly related to their level and ability of teaching mathematics in their future workplaces, and is particularly important in the knowledge structure. Thus, we have made a sampling survey about current situation and source of undergraduates’MPCK, and proposed several suggestions on the development of undergraduate MPCK based on our survey results:(1)Since the carrying out of normal education, boys do better than girls on knowledge of MK for that boys pay more attention to taking part in the teaching practice and academic lecture, girls should take more this kind of activities; Seniors do better than juniors, since they do more mathematical education practice and the primary and middle school students in the era of experience, should also be continuous development of mathematical knowledge; Mathematics education practice is indeed a useful way to improve mathematical thoughts and methods.(2)As for the knowledge of PK, boys are more confident to control class, they apply various representation methods to represent a topic; Senior students have a qualitative leap compared with junior students, graduation practice is the key of the improvement of general pedagogical knowledge; General teaching knowledge need to be learned and be improved in practice, and knowledge about the general teaching methods is also important, such as educational specialized knowledge and extracurricular books.(3) As for the knowledge of CK, boys understand better than girls on the pre-school concepts and background knowledge of a theme, but they are lack of the knowledge about the student’s knowledge of self-evaluation; Mathematics education practice and the experience at primary and middle school is a good way not only to develop students’ thought and the ability to foresee the difficulty of learning a certain subject, but also to develop the knowledge of other aspects about students. Pedagogical Knowledge is also a good way to obtain students’ psychological development characteristic and learning strategies and methods.(4) As for knowledge about TK and simple operation of information technology, self-assessment scores are relatively higher compared with the scores of technology combined with mathematical knowledge, teaching; The main source is the basic courses of information technology and mathematical software. Education practice and frequent discussion with classmates about the issue of information technology will improve the applying methods in exploring mathematical problems. Technological knowledge needs to be developed increasingly.
