Rural education has always been the weak point of the wholeeducation in China. The rural education is the project whichshould be built focused, since2000balanced education has beenpromoting. Several methods like primary and middle schoollayout consolidation, construction of distance educationalfacilities, standardized school construction for remote ruralschool and so on, make a vigorously support for rural education.However, compared with the past, rural schools are still facingresource problems, mainly for teacher resources. These specificperformances for it are big liquidity, poor working enthusiasm,irrational age structure and so on. These phenomena are alsocommon problems existed in the rural schools. The Mid-longTerm Plan of national education reform and development hasmade some specific requirements for construction of ruralteacher team-building. Therefore, the construction of ruralteachers is the fundamental in development of rural schools andthe relationship between the development of rural education andrural schools. This thesis will describe and design a properinstitution of teacher motivation in the view of teachers in rural areas. Choosing motivating rural teacher as thesis’s point has itsreasons. First, for rural teachers there are many influences fromrural schools, rural families and society; second, rural teachersneed a good way for motivation. Nowadays, most studies onteacher motivation are based on motivational theories. By usingthese theories, several practical methods can be created forteacher motivation.This thesis is based on two-factor theory. And the processof this theory is also the template for this research. There aredifferent reactions affected by different influencing factors andschool’s management behaviors for rural teachers in workplace.So the real situation and the actual effect from them should beanalyzed. According to that result, the researchers could givethe effect analysis and design suitable methods of teachermotivation to the rural teachers.This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part is theintroduction of all. It introduces its background, content,purpose and importance, and is also the summary of wholethesis. The second part is the literature review of teachermotivation, especially for basic concepts for this thesis,development related to motivation of teachers, and institution ofteacher motivation status. The third part is the theoreticalfoundation of the whole thesis. This section describes thedetailed implementation design process of two-factor theory andexperiment process, provides a template for understanding ofprocess in this thesis. The fourth part is the body part, also it isthe key content. This part includes the rural teacher’s work status, management of rural teacher and their working effectsafter motivating. It describes, integrates and analyses all datacollection in the whole study process. It sums up the charactersof institution of teacher motivation, and then includes itsproblems through the analysis of the actual situation. The fifthpart focuses on the problems that mentioned above, such as thegoal orientation is so heavy on achievements in teachersmanagement, paying little attention to hygiene factors’influences on teacher motivation. Furthermore, this partsummarizes the advantages appeared in institution of teachermotivation, too. In the last part, in consideration of the object ofthe study, motivating rural teacher should be in a scientific way.And then some advice should be made for institution of teachermotivation design for rural school.
