With the development of the times, educational circles and society put more focus on the professional development of Teachers. The teachers’ professional development, as the theme of research is increasingly in-depth and specific. The comparative study of novice and expert teachers is just one part of the subject. At present, it has made certain achievements, to a certain extent, it also accelerates the professional development of teachers. Classroom questioning is one of the important components in high school chemistry classroom teaching, it helps to strengthen the communication between teachers and students, or between students and students, it also can help teachers to understand students’ learning status, promoting their understanding of the chemical concepts, or chemical theories. Therefore, this study will select high school chemistry novice and expert teachers as the research object, Classroom questioning, as a starting point to find out the differences between the two’s. Further more, to provide reference for the transition from novice chemistry teachers to expert chemistry teachers. This study is based on the relevant literature on the comparative study of two types of teachers and classroom questioning, the author complies the observation scale about classroom questioning, the interview outline and questionnaire. The author adopts the method of from part to whole, beginning from question type, the clarity of expression, to the choice of questioned objects, the waiting time and evaluation way of teachers. Finally, the author has observed3novice high school chemical teachers and3expert teachers’ six classroom teachering. At the same time, the author also has interviewed some teacher of them. At last, a nationwide questionnaires is issued by the author to learn about two types of teachers’ preparation for questions before class and the reflection to the classroom questioning after class.by contrast, find out the difference between the two are as follows:(1) The differences in terms of designing questions The expert chemical teachers will prepare the core questions before class, the designed questions match with students’ cognitive, the narrative of questions is concise and to the point. Before class, they are metieulous to prepare crucial questions and predict the possible questions students will make and make Proeessing issue; Novice teachers are lack of prediction for the students, the problem formulation is unclear or ambiguous, part of the problem with the students’ cognitive discrepancies, without highlighting the difficulties.(2)There are differences between the answer way of the two. Expert chemical teachers for students to answer different to adjust the processing question, taking into account all students at the same time also reflects the individual difference of students; The novice teachers pay too much attention to and the smooth completion of teaching, to the student’s answer evaluation less or not, is not conducive to inspire students to think.(3)The reflection of two kinds of teachers after class two is different. The reflection after class on the classroom questioning, expert chemical teachers is students centered, on the contrary, the novice teachers are self-centered.
