With the advances in manufacturing technology, production equipment graduallytoward large-scale, complex, integrated and intelligent direction. This trend makesmeticulous management of the production equipment become the enterprises’ importantmeans to reduce production cost and maintain strong market competitiveness. Therefore,the production equipment is even more important to the survival and development ofenterprises, equipment management has also become an important part of the business.In order to manage the production equipment and reduce equipment’s failure rate,enterprises usually monitors equipment operation state by online monitoring andoff-line monitoring. In this article, equipment off-line monitoring system of theindustrial field based on RFID is developed on the basis of analysing the status anddevelopment trends of equipment inspection to improve the inspection efficiency,quality and level of intelligence.In this paper, the requirement analysis of the equipment off-line monitoring systemis completed, while the design principles are analysed. And then, equipment inspectionprocess based on smart handheld devices is designed by the architecture of theequipment off-line monitoring system which is described briefly in this paper, andcombined with the characteristics of RFID.According to the characteristics of the handheld terminal platforms, it is analysedthat the equipment condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology is used by thispaper. In order to improve the resource utilization of enterprise inspection and theintelligence level of inspection, two basic questions are analysed about inspectionequipment, which are inspection equipment selection and inspection path optimization.Considered the characteristics of the two issues, the neural networks and geneticalgorithms are respectively used to model, and the algorithms process are respectivelyanalysed.According to the requirement analysis, it is completed that the overall design of theequipment off-line monitoring system.According to the overall design of the equipment off-line monitoring system, thehandheld terminal program based on the Android platform is developed by using theJava language. The system uses the SQLite database to mamage system data. Using VBand Matlab programming developes the server program.
