| With the rapid development of global economy, projects in enterprise andengineering practice are becoming more and more complicated no matter from the scaleor the number, therefore, put forward higher requirements to all aspects of projectmanagement. The reasonable allocation of resources is the key to ensure achievingproject goals.Resource leveling refers to adjust the start time and end time and the executionmode of non-critical activities in network program reasonably under the premise ofsatisfying the logical relationship and organization process relationship betweenactivities, in order to make similar resource demand throughout the whole projectsconstruction period, so as to realize resource leveling of projects. Resource leveling inenterprise and engineering practice projects can reduce the resource demandfluctuations and lessen management difficulty and costs in the whole network plan.In view of the "fixed duration, resource leveling" problem, this paper studies thetraditional resource leveling models, and how to combine multiple projects into a singleproject and multiple resources into a single resource. Through the analysis of existingresearch we can find that traditional resource leveling optimization model has certainshortages, which based on the assumption that non-critical activities also can’t be brokewhile activities resource intensity can’t be changed, that different from the projectactual.Aiming at the problems existing in the traditional model, established amulti-project and multiple resources leveling mathematical model while non-criticalactivities can be broke and activities resource intensity can be changed. The model canbe compatible with the traditional model. Then detailed the solving process ofmulti-projects and multiple resources leveling mathematical model with the help ofgenetic algorithm, and used genetic algorithm to solve a numerical example, comparedthe optimization results to traditional model results, verified the validity andeffectiveness of the modified model finally. |
