The future NGB technology will integrate the advantages of broadcast network andthe Internet, possessing unique network characteristics. The main networkcharacteristics are the coverage of the combination of the wired and the wirelessnetwork,100Mb/s actual access speed per NGB user, the smart family network systemwhose subscriber terminal is the future NGB technology, the use of the Internet ofThings, and supporting the smart and networked control of controlled terminals likedomestic appliances. At the same time, the future LTE technology will also changepeople’s life and improve people’s life quality a lot. This paper introduces at length the design and the development of the breadboardof the NGB and LTE technology, from the aspects of the schematic, the establishment ofPCB library, the PCB placement and routing, the PCB plate making and the systemdebugging. The main contents of this paper are followings:1. This paper studies the types and structural models of the multimedia processor, and discusses the related multimedia processors’ properties, providing a theoreticalbasis for the design of the testing platform;2. This paper designs the testing platform based on the TMS320DM8168multimedia processor and the testing platform based on the SGSD5FPGA andTMS320C6670DSP. The two testing platforms, which are designed from the systems ofpower source, peripherals, IO, interconnection, etc, are all adopted the Modular Designtechnology, Both of them put into practice through the PCB objects;3. This paper tests and debugs the two testing platforms based on the present ones.
