| Frequency synthesizer technology is developing very rapidly, especially with theemergence of DDS technology which is a major leap forward in the history of thefrequency synthesizer technology. Frequency synthesizer consisted of both DDS andPLL has been a very wide range of applications and achieved very good results.Recently,DDS and PLL chip operating frequency is getting higher and higher, themixed frequency synthesizer design plan based on DDS and PLL has been widely usednowadays. The paper presents the design and implementation of frequency synthesizerusing a hybrid design of DDS and PLL, and the final system test results have reachedthe design requirements.In this paper, the first chapter introduces the source of this project, and then a briefdescription of the frequency synthesizer technology development has been given. Thesecond chapter briefly describes the basic theory of the DDS and PLL. Chapter threefirstly lists the system design requirements, and then discusses a variety of combinationof DDS and PLL frequency synthesizer program, DDS-PLL frequency synthesizer ischosen as the system solution; as follows, the paper introduces a part of the hardwarecircuit design, frequency calculation algorithm of DDS-PLL and electromagneticcompatibility design. Chapter four introduces the debugging process of module circuit,and lists a large number of test data. The test results show that the frequency synthesizermeets the design demand.Finally the paper gives a brief summary of the project, the problems of the designin this project are listed in this chapter, and this chapter also discusses the correspondingimproved method of the problems. These improved methods are the accumulatedexperience and views of the author in frequency synthesizer design and debuggingprocess. I hope that it will play a helpful role in later revision or other frequencysynthesizer design. |
