In this paper, Management Information System (MIS) was designed to meet theneed of power plant production and Management of relevant requirements and designInformation Management model. In the operation of the management power plant, itneed to plant operation business processes and business contents of standardizationmanagement. The use process including modularization, platform change andobject-oriented, other advanced development ideas and technology, designing, planningoverall data information, and develop the corresponding application system. As thepower plant is manageed to provide the information means and methods, in order torealize the optimization of information resources utilization, improve power plantoperation efficiency and management level. MIS design concept is to asset managementas the core, in the safety in production, based on the information technology with the aidof the main means, achieve finally auxiliary offer the purpose of making a decision.The application of MIS system architecture is Microsoft.net forms of multilayerstructure, and the whole production management system support member developmentform, Using workflow and middleware technology. In the composition of the MISstructure, part of the MIS program using C/S structure mode, and subject MIS programis USES the multi-layer pure B/S structure mode. The whole MIS contains five mainparts, those are data control layer, display layer, data transmission layer, businessprocessing layer and data storage layer. It is more advantageous to the systemmaintenance, updating and extended operation.As to the safety property, MIS based on SQL Server as backend database,Multi-stage control mode is used in MIS. It allows the user’s database encryptiontreatment, and to prevent it to other software derived form. In addition, users of thesystem can also make use of the SQL structured query language in MIS database layerin the database access. Through the establishment of the database information system, itcan be easy and convenient access to production. The management of the system is toprovide the data service, also with the aid of material coding, KKS code or other codingforms to the system. It can provide the basic data information. MIS hardware platform architecture has very good extensibility performance. Thatis to save the project early for hardware purchase cost of investment. In addition, in thehardware facilities of very rapid big background environment, this system can also usethe latest hardware facilities.The design of the management information system in this paper is around the coreof economic benefit, and will power plant electric power production as the center. Thepower system security and reliability is as a prerequisite for the standardizedmanagement. Power plant application platform construction through the MIS system torealize, among them, the whole application platform mainly include the power plant inthe production and management process to all kinds of information of calculation andprocessing operation. In the MIS system, some function software is for power plant inall aspects of management, and providing the corresponding auxiliary decisionfunctions. It mainly included in the asset management and administrative management,production management, and operation management. MIS highly modularcharacteristics, can through the corresponding interface to achieve its and the third partyinformation exchange operation. In conclusion, the design of MIS and the establishmentof modern management to provide the effective mode, to achieve economic, scientific.Contribution to the administration of institutions of higher education goal, and it issuitable for the rapid development of electric power market. MIS can meet therequirements to improve the efficiency of the economy.
