With the rapid development of modern economic, outdoor media advertising hasbecome an indispensable part of building brands and developing business strategies. Forthis reason, various types of outdoor media advertising came into being, and theirapplications have occupied daily business and public life. How to get advertisinginformation and messages behind these media advertising and then providing strongsupport for the decision-making? Outdoor media advertising monitoring informationsystem platform is an answer to this demand.In this thesis, the subscribing and publishing system of outdoor media based onWebGIS is a better solution to urban outdoor advertising information system, which isthe first system who provided services of outdoors media monitoring in small-and–medium sized city in China. With the help of this system, enterprises will betteracknowledge the advertising putting status of their own products in the situation,meanwhile, industry trends and macroeconomic spread could also be obtained.Moreover, by using this system, enterprises can understand the relevant brand mediaadvertising industry competition strategy of brand advertising, and then gather enoughinformation for their brand marketing decision-making. Under this circumstance,enterprises can effectively prevent the “bad deal” in the corporate media advertising,maximizing the influence of advisement and economic effectiveness.This thesis applies the concept of WebGIS to the field of commercial mediamanagement, design and implementation of WebGIS based subscribing and publishingsystem for outdoor-media information has been realized. The innovation of this systemis the combination of WebGIS technology and LBS application services technology,integrating the outdoors media information, the positional information, the mapinformation and the picture information. This system has ability of collecting,publishing, management, and sharing outdoor media information. This thesis firstlycarried out a detail analysis of the feasibility of this system and needs of users. After theoverall design of this system, the functionality and business processes of outdoor mediainformation collection and release system will be determined. In this thesis, much attention has been paid on the design and implementation of subscribing and publishingsystem of outdoor media information. The research innovations and results are asfollows:1. The WebGIS technology and LBS applications technology been combinedeffectively, Design and Implementation of subscribe publishing system of outdoormedia information which is based on WebGIS are also available in this thesis.2. The B/S architecture is used in this thesis to fulfill the demand of convenientoperation, easy management, and data sharing. Ajax technology is used during thesystem development process which can effectively reduce network traffic.3. The system can subscript and publish media information, advertising messages,picture messages and other information. Information and images could be show on Webmap on the support of MapABC.4. GPS location of media and records of current advertising content are alsoavailable in this thesis. Further research on these records will be proceeding afterward.The research includes record changes and removal from time to time, and recordingmedia information dissemination and monitoring.
