Vulnerability Monitoring And Its Application On Meteorological Network Security

With the rapid development of network information, security problems have already become the focus of today’s network technology. security issues which, vulnerability and virus caused is particular interesting, General, hackers and virus invasion and spread themself through vulnerabilities,vulnerability detection can detect vulnerabilities which is one of the most important network security technology. The vulnerability monitoring is a real-time detection method of system vulnerabilities and security exposures,it enables the user to master the system security vulnerability, and then take measures to strengthen the protection of the security of the system.The meteorological archives is the wealth of the country, is an important part of the national archives. Meteorological data plays a vital role in agriculture, forestry, transportation, aviation and other fields, especially in the field of modern national defense. meteorological data confidentiality is particularly important, the country has already adopted relevant laws and regulations to protect the confidentiality of the meteorological data. However, with the popularity of information technology, meteorological data security is under severe challenges brought about by the vulnerabilities of the information system itself.Firstly, the paper discusses the main vulnerability scanning technologies, then conducts in-depth research about computer OVAL (Open Vulnerability and Assessment Language), proposes a system model of the real-time monitoring system based on OVAL, designs and implementes a windows-based vulnerability real-time monitoring system.Finally, For the status quo of security of meteorological network,the paper proposes a network security system.The main work of this paper is as follows:1、Discuss vulnerability assessment development status, research vulnerability and vulnerability assessment related technical principles. analyze OVAL vulnerability detection principle in-depth, for the the vulnerabilities monitoring system design to provide theoretical support and basis.2、Study to investigate the host monitoring technology, research the monitoring technology and principle of hook and filter driver, and in-depth analysis, design and realization of the host monitoring framework based on windows platform.3、Design and implement a real-time vulnerability monitoring system based on OVAL, and the system’s structure, function modules, workflow is described in detail.4、Test the system from different angles, the test results show that the system can give the computer network a comprehensive and accurate vulnerability monitoring, and it has a good monitoring efficiency and monitoring completeness.5、Analyse the status quo and development trends of the the meteorological network security, design meteorological network security system base on the real-time vulnerability monitoring system.
