In the fierce competition to maintain the advantage, more and more securities trader has reached the consensus that the application of data warehouse technology will dig out valuable customers, expand new customers, in that way to realize the rational allocation of limited resources and profit maximization.Based on the research of data warehouse technology and ETL tools Kettle, this article mainly lies in the analysis of the company data center’s relevant businesses against the backdrop of Dongguan Securities company’s data centre project. So as to put forward the "Five Platforms" to construct the data center, which is data exchange platform, data service platform, intelligent analysis platform, business demonstration platform, unified management platform, and depict the design and realization of the data center system on the basis of such framework.This article mainly introduces the three layer data structure and data model design of the securities company’s data center system. As the data model refers to the FS-LDM, it has undergone appropriate expansion, established five themes including part, internal organization, product, protocol, events, which are all based on the business feature of securities business.The article also introduces the unified management platform and the design and realization of two application examples (Regulatory Reporting, Led View) on the basis of data center. In terms of the unified management platform, it mainly illustrates the design and realization of the functional modules such as the operational monitoring, ETL dispatching management. With regard to the regulatory reporting, it mainly illustrates the design of submission process of the reporting and the realization of reporting data summarization based on the relevant data module of the data center. As for the Led View, it mainly illustrates the realization of the data summarization of relevant data module on the basis of the data center.The securities company data center system researched and developed by this article has been put into practical action in Dongguan Securities Company, and been in stable operation for one year. The actual operation situation demonstrates that the system is highly efficient and practicable.
