In modern warfare, with the growing demand for and the increasingly complex ofthe radar system simulation, the demand for the level of the simulation technologybecomes higher and higher. Traditional radar system simulation software that hasshortcomings such as reusability and scalability can no longer meet the needs of theradar simulation system. There is urgent need to develop a comprehensive, flexiblescalability, complex radar systems with a high degree of modeling and simulationsoftware to improve the efficiency and quality of the radar system’s modeling andsimulation.In response to this demand, we design a component-based software framework onwhich the core of a scheme is based. The framework has special structure which isrealized by the method of models, and whose core idea is that the XML technology andmemory sharing mechanism of which the bus mechanisms and standardized interfacesare taken use to achieve a data bus and a standardized interface. Developers canindependently develop components or modify the original component depending on theidiographic demand. Only the interface defined in the framework of the standard isfollowed, can these components quickly and seamlessly insert software framework.Under the component-based software framework, we can design the core components(radar simulation system) and functional components with the technologies ofstandardization, component-based and XML, etc. By the use of user-friendly graphicalmodeling tools, the core components can achieve functions that managing, modelingand building a radar simulation system to a large number of components of the radarsimulation. Functional components can help users quickly configure radar simulationsystem, process the simulation reproducibility and achieve more intuitive and efficientunderstanding of the simulation process. The radar system modeling and simulationsoftware make up the shortcomings such as poor reuse, lacking of graphical issues of amodern radar simulation software, and improve the efficiency of the development ofradar systems.
