| As the simulation of Airborne radar system’s ground and sea clutter is related to theradar system within the field of experimental results to radar systems design and alsoprovide a great theoretical support to performance simulation and optimization of signalprocessing algorithms. It has become an important research topic. Follow thedevelopment of the new Radar system, the demands for the Clutter Simulation becomemore accurate, real-time and fast.From the point of view of engineering applications, this paper makes a deepresearch of airborne radar clutter simulation. First the paper analysis and study thecharacteristics of the ground and sea clutter of the airborne radar and elaborates severalkinds of clutter distribution,several commonly used backscattering coefficient models.Then the paper introduces several commonly used models of clutter simulations whichmostly stressed on the method of dividing the ground units of Grid Imaging method,and then test the method by simulating the clutter in this way. At last, the paperTransplants the Grid Imaging Method to the CUDA platform to meet the demands forreal-time and fast, and then illustrates the Speedup of CUDA. The simulation on theCUDA platform proves the meaning for engineering applications of the Grid ImagingMethod on CUDA platform. |
