| Smartphone is a word which is definitely familiar for people living in the21th century.Wherever you go, you can always see people reading magazines, playing video games ortweets news using their little tiny cellphones. However, the function of SP is more than that.Besides for all the basic features of traditional phones and some recreational functions, it canalso be used as the tool to check emails, making daily schedules and even be used to deal withthe work left in daytimes. All these means that SPs are more and more like a tiny computer, which can be used to handle more and more complicated things that could merely be done oncomputers. However high-tech the SP is, one thing is beyond all doubts: Mobile phones are alwaysphones, it can never be regard as a replacement of the computer. But luckily, it can be workedas the subsidiary of computers, turning all the limits it has to its advantages and bring moreconvenience to people’s life. From such a respect, the design that cross different platformbecomes even more important. This paper starts from the office software that people are familiar with and put forwardthe necessary method and theory of transplanting the software from the computer terminal tomobile ones by comparing the difference of these two platforms. By comparing these twoplatforms, the author find the differences exist between them, which are their different screensizes, using scene as well as the different way of operating them. Then the author proposed away of design in order to turn the shortage of the mobile phones into the advantage of it andmake it work better for people. In the final part of the paper, the author tested those design principles she put forward bytaking part in the design of HP Curzon Mobiles and explain the details from the aspect of theuser research, the flow design and the visual design. The innovative point of the thesis is thatit finds out the way of the interface transplantation between computer terminal and the mobileterminal and then used it in the real design practice to test all the theories that proposedbefore. |
