| Wireless ad hoc network which have the capacity of communication on moving,network distributed and prompt setup have been widely used in military and civilianfields. Planning, designing and validating network only rely on experience is no longermeet the demand for network development because of increasing of network, limited ofcommunication devices and personnel. We need for a scientific means for planning thenetwork to provide a reliable quantitative basis, reflect and predict the performance ofthe network. A method to design and implement in engineering the platform for radiowireless ad hoc network simulation will be discussed in this paper.The dissertation analyses the characteristic of various simulation tools basednetwork simulation technology, discusses distributed Hardware-in-loop simulation usedin the radio network simulation platform thought On multi-tasking operating systemLinux. We first discuss the hardware and software framework of radio networksimulation base on functionality, performance requirements from system-level, followedaround distributed Hardware-in-loop simulation and ad hoc capacity indicators,discussed hardware architecture design ideas, the hierarchical relationship of thedistributed software architecture, functional modules of the platform division guidelinesfocus on the software part of the top-down design. Then we discussed on the detaileddescription of each module of the software design and development process, andexplain the method how node model and channel model organizing radio network, anduse the scheduling management technology to achieve the unified control ofmulti-subnet, from design ideas to achieve the principleinterface relations, critical datastructures into the details of the software module. After simulation platform integration,we plan simulated radio network with actual equipment to verify the whole function.The test includes application-level(network planning, parameter handing out, trafficcarrying) and network-level(simulation system, subnet, node), Focus testinginterconnection function with the actual equipment, communication within a subnet aswell as different subnet. Through the analysis of the test data, validate the performanceof the simulation platform. Radio network simulation platform with network planning, setting up,interconnected and traffic carrying by Hardware-in-loop technology have capacity ofad-hoc simulation at lab. We can solve the problem of multiple simulation arithmeticunit work together to achieve the formation of large-scale, multi-level wireless networkneeds by deploying large radio networks on the platform. |
