| The complex geological structure3D geoscience modeling techniques are utilizinga structural interpretation of results data, logging data and other information, relying onthe computer simulation technology, aiming at various parameters of the model (such asvelocity model, the density model to build geological rules for the target work area,permeability model etc.), and being used as the initial model data for seismic inversion,reservoir simulation purposes.In fact, this technology has possessed great significance inthe field of geophysics, and also been discussed and researched as one of the hot issuesin the field for many years; the correlative modeling techniques have become the coretechnologies in the field of software industry. Nevertheless, there are some limitationswithin the existing software and methods to solve complicated geological structurecontaining multiple overthrust geoscience modeling.The thesis focuses on the related issues of mathematical modeling and concentrateson developing a set of complex three-dimensional modeling software system. In theprocess of research, the main work is concerning the following areas:First, the investigation for the function and effect of the research-related software.Major software is GOCAD software system of Paradigm Ltd, and DeepInsightTMGeoScience Modeling Software system of Grid Universal Software Technology Co.,Ltd. in Beijing. Through deliberation and study of these software systems, the methodsof structural modeling, sequence modeling and property modeling have been exploredand researched;Second, the overall design of the software system. Based on research of othersoftware systems and combined with the needs of users, the software architecture hasbeen constructed according to the module library, forming structural interpretation ofdata management library, three-dimensional visual library, two-dimensionalvisualization library, algorithm library and other module libraries, to gain betterprotection for code reusability and scalability of the software;Third, the design for geoscience modeling process of structural modeling, sequencemodeling and property modeling. Structure modeling, sequence modeling and property modeling can take advantage of two-dimensional or three-dimensional visualizationmethod for modeling quality control to ensure the reasonableness and accuracy of thegeoscience model;Fourth, participation in software development for the sequence modeling, theproperty modeling module and data manage module, and research of the sequencemodule method for multiple overthrust of complex geological structure as the chiefresearcher. Results of the sequence build satisfy the law of geology, meeting therequirements of professional geological staff.The basic software system has had a stable version, and an application test hasbeen carried out in a work area of Sichuan province. The work area contains the typicalgeological structure of the Sichuan Basin, in which several areas own double and tripleoverthrusts. Though modeling is difficult, the results of software modeling basicallymeet the requirements of the Party geological experts. |
