Research And Implementation Of The Digital Menu System Based On The Cloud Computing

With the development of science and technology, IT facilities already became thebasic facilities of the companies. However, the purchase of hardware, deployment of ITsoftware and management and maintenance of system took a lot of money. This made thesituation of shortage of funds for small and medium enterprises to be worse. Thesesituations seriously restricted the development of enterprises, and also hindered the processof building the information society. To solve this problem, the cloud computing came intobeing. The cloud computing provides the necessary IT services for enterprises with itsunique way which is "everything demands on needs". This article mainly analyzes thecloud computing technology, and uses research results to verify the desired effect in a case.First, describe research background and research current situation at home and abroadof the cloud computing. Second, introduce the development and characteristics of cloudcomputing and analyze the key technologies. Third, according to the platform software ofcloud computing technology at choose the Eucalyptus to build a private cloud computingplatform. Fourth, use the cloud computing based on virtual technology to design a wirelesstouch terminal. At last, design a digital menu system by analysis of modern food andbeverage management business processes, and deploy it on the private cloud computingplatform so that it can reduce the cost of purchase and maintenance and improve thequality of service. Use the new terminal (wireless touch terminal) to communicate with thedigital menu system of virtual server on the private cloud computing platform by virtualdesktop protocol and wireless network. The test’s result shows that customers can choosetheir favorite food quickly through the wireless touch terminal. It also shows thatmanagement and maintenance only do on the private cloud computing platform and thecost of purchase is obviously reduced. It improves the quality of service and efficiency inthe food and beverage industry to realize the goals of reducing costs and easy to manage.
