The temperature is intuitive reflect the basic physical quantities in lifeand production of the object in the degree of hotness. In many industrialprocesses, measurement and control of temperature associated with many ofthe major technical and economic indicators such as production safety,increase productivity, ensure product quality, energy conservation, etc.Temperature control is widely used in home appliances, automobiles,materials, power electronics, and other industries in which the social life.Old-fashioned thermostat is usually a fixed value control or PID control,although on some occasions to meet the requirements, but as more and morehigh control accuracy requirements, low control accuracy, control means asingle old-fashioned thermostat can no longer meetproduction life of therequest.In order to improve productivity, development of new thermostatsystem has important significance. PROFIBUS-DP to achieve a temperaturecontrol system bus of this requirement.Fieldbus is an application of multi-node bidirectional serial digitalcommunication system, computerized measurement and control equipment atthe production site, also known as open digitize underlying control networkof multi-point communication. PROFIBUS-DP is based on the fieldbusstandards set by Siemens several companies based in the. Its openness makesdifferent manufacturers can be connected to the PROFIBUS-DP busproduction with PROFIBUS-DP interface bus.The subject first introduce the background and significance of the topic,and then fieldbus and PROFIBUS-DP communication protocol briefintroduction, followed by analysis and control principle of the temperaturecontrol system. The main work of this subject is designPROFIBUS-DP/RS232protocol conversion module. Completed by analyzingthe program of study selection "MCU+VPC3" the PROFIBUS-DP/RS232protocol conversion module design, DP communication with serialbi-directional data transfer. Protocol conversion module, you can access thethermostat to DP network can achieve the control of the temperature controlsystem of the host computer. This paper describes the design of the hardware and software of the PROFIBUS-DP slave protocol conversion module, andthe hardware and software debugging. Final design the WinCC interface, thecontrol interface is more user-friendly.
