With the rapid development of computer and network technology, more and moreinformation is stored in personal or commercial computers in electronic form andtransferred widely through the network. Therefore, the data safety is more and morevaluable for government authorities, military and enterprise and need to be encrypted.Moreover, the transparent encryption can greatly reduce the leakage risk so that it canplay a role in protecting data security. This dissertation introduces transparentencryption for Microsoft Word documents and work to encrypt the watermarkinformation in digital watermarking based on Mojette transform.The achievement of transparent encryption on the Microsoft Word documents usesthe Microsoft Minifilter technology and filters the request of open, close, read andwrite from the application. To prepare the distribution function of file, the micro filterdriver decrypts document when the application sends the read request; and it encryptsfile when the driver receives the write request and then the encryption key is stored inthe USBKey. Computers in a company need to save the important informationinevitably and much information is very sensitive. Besides, a lot of information issaved in the file mode and some is stored in employs’ computers. The function oftransparent encryption on the Microsoft Word document can prevent employeesnaturally or half unconsciously taking the information away from the company andensure the safety of information.The digital watermarking technology based on Mojette transform can effectivelyhide the watermark information, and we can conduct the replacement encryption onwatermark to ensure the security of the watermark. Digital watermarking technology has been widely used in copyright protection and information hiding. Theexperimental results show that the design of the Minifilter for transparent encryptionon word document and encryption for watermark information is feasible and effective,and has achieved good results. At the end of the thesis, I summarized the work and theinnovation of this dissertation and pointed out the limitations and the prospect offuture research.
