Auxiliary mechanism was an important resource in the mechanical system process, itsrational use and management level had a direct impact on the execution efficiency of themanufacturing system. The studies of existing auxiliary mechanism management, which hadinsufficient information integration with the CAM/CAPP system, focused mainly oncomputer-aided management auxiliary mechanism information, dynamic inventorymanagement and other daily management functions, such as the basic informationmanagement of the auxiliary, the generation of the plan to prepare tool, the management oftool magazine presetting, etc. In order to solve these problems, some relevant improvementshad been made. Took tool magazine as an example, the research contents of the auxiliarymechanism management system are as follows:First of all, on the basis of existing tool magazine management system,constructed the overall framework for the manufacturing CNC processing auxiliarymechanism management system. Expect the function of tool magazine basic informationmaintenance management and daily management, the system also had the function of checkingoption management for the tool magazine.Secondly, depending on the needs of the system, offered the design process of the database on the basis of the existing storage means of tool magazine. Such as analyses on the datasheet and its data design that the system needs, depending on the system function, and gave theE-R relation model between the entities of the data base sheet.Thirdly, after the in-depth study of tool magazine coding system in the existing toolmagazine management system, established a tool magazine coding system, synthesizing rulesof the hard coding and flexible coding and the key sizes needed in the coordination. This madethe information content of the tool magazine much more completely and guaranteed theuniqueness of the tool magazine information.Finally, according to constraints between the handle, tool holder and tool in the tool magazine, designed the auto-matching algorithm, which realized the auxiliary matchingamong the handle, tool holder and tool in the tool magazine.
