| In the modern wirless field, the shortage of spectrum resources has greatlyrestricted the advancement of wireless communication technology. From the firstgeneration telecommunication, till today’s fourth generation telecommunication, allthese are focused to satisfy users’ demand within limit resources. Besides that, relaytechnology, introduced in LTE-A, as a development way to improve the edge users togain more throughput and more service. Based on this, this paper has studied on relaytechnology and related.Firstly, this dissertation introduces the origin of this project and the researchpurposes of Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) technology as well as the currentsituation of the domestic and international research on LTE-A technology.Secondly, it studies different relay types and the relay-based LTE-A system. Andthis section also gives an overview about the resource management in LTE-A system.Thirdly, this dissertation studys a single-user scene, under which, different linkconditions are analysed. It is proposed a strategy to choose a best realy node for thisuser. What’s more, based on this, three classic scheduling algorithms are studied andused for relay-based system. The performance of the three algorithms is compared andanalyzed by various simulating. Finally, the strategy of relay chosen is extended to multi-user-multi-relay scenario. And in this snenario, a two-step scheduling algorithm is proposed. The performance ofthis algothim is also analyzed by various simulation. |
