Triple play as a strategy for promoting construction of national economicand social Informationization, China–an important part of national "planwas confirmed for the first time in the planning.In order to achieve thethree-network interconnection, sharing of resources, improve the level ofnational economic and social Informationization, China "ten five" plan, the"Eleven-Five" plan, the "Twelve-Five" plan, has made a clear instruction topromote convergence of the three networks, but in general our triple playprogress remains slow.This paper to present situation for development ofChina’s triple weft, triple experience abroad as a frame of analysis on reasonsfor slow progress in the convergence of the three networks in China.WithOriental cable as a specific case study, exploring the factors restricting thedevelopment of network convergence, to propose appropriate countermeasures andsuggestions.Full text is divided into four parts, first chapter describes the purposeand significance of the research on this subject, situation, research methodsand research.Chapter by way of introduction of radio and television operatorstriple basic profile, compared to triple the current situation at home andabroad, analysis of triple success in foreign countries, understand the causesfor the slow development of the country’s three networks convergence.ChapterIII with Oriental cable network convergence, for example, describes the statusof triple play in Shanghai, has been achieved and the problems encountered,and analysis of factors that restrict the development of.Fourth chapter combines Oriental cable triple play situation, explore the appropriate cablequick development policy in the East, and makes recommendations on how to bettercarry out triple.Research of China’s triple play to a new level.
