As the rapid development of the multimedia technology, Electronic Image Stabilization(EIS) system can make up the shortage of mechanical stabilization system and opticalstabilization system, for its obvious advantages, such as compact size, low powerconsumption, lightweight and high image stabilizing precision. Therefore the electronicimage stabilization has important practical significance and has been widely used in theimage obtain process and target detection area.This thesis firstly analyzes the performance of several electronic image stabilizationalgorithms based on related articles, and summaries the development status, expounds theresearch background and significance. Secondly, this thesis expatiates the fundamental andof the ESI system, including two modules---motion vector estimation part and motioncompensation part, discusses key technique of the realization process. Based on the study forseveral typical algorithms in practice, pray-scale projection algorithm is chosen as thesimulation method. Based on gray-scale projection algorithm, this thesis proposed one novelimproved method aiming at solving the difficulties that gray projection algorithm is invalidto rotation jitter. Several simulated image sequences with different type motion vector areanalyzed and testified the performance characterization of improved gray projectionalgorithm, and the simulation results show the effectiveness of the improved algorithm,including real-time performance and stabilizing precision. |
