In the process of Urban planning and Management, it’s based on the comprehensivedevelopment of various construction in the city. Urban design is the similar design ofurban morphology, urban function, urban public space. The2d drawings and provisionsform is adopted in the traditional management of Urban planning. The3ds informationmanagement level is adopted to construct the virtual simulation system of the city, theplanning managers manage the item information by inquiring the interactive information, and the urban designers improve design in the interactive simulation environment. And itis realized to public participation in The urban planning process bt the compatible Webpublishing platform. In the virtual reality system of urban planning use Unity3D and C#as thedevelopment platform and language of a virtual reality system, adopt SketchUp as a3dmodeling tool and AutoCAD as a two-dimensional drawing tool, match up with the schemedesign of urban design process, and utilize ArcGIS as the spatial data processing platform. This system is divided into four parts:Status data acquisition,two-dimensional planescheme,3D model design, virtual interaction realization. The system is released as aexecutable program, and can support multiple platform transplantation and web versionpublishion. It can also provide the users with urban planning design and interactive queryfunction, and show them the design results in the form of3D scene roaming.Urban planning virtual reality system is a big breakthrough of planning andmanagement.Besides displaying the urban design scheme through transform perspectiveof different angles in roaming, it can also provide the interactive information querymode for the plan project.
