Design And Application Of Routing Scheme Based On ISIS Protocol In IP Bearer Network

With the rapid development of the Internet, the network has increasingly become themain channel for people to communicate with each other. In order to ensure the smoothprogress of network communication, it is necessary to choose an effective and reliable IProuting protocol to route selection and route calculation. In today’s communicationnetwork, used IGP (Interior Gateway Protocol) routing protocols are RIP (RoutingInformation Protocol), OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), ISIS (Intermediate System toIntermediate System),OSPF and ISIS are suitable for using in a medium-sized network,because ISIS’s flexible structure TLV (Type-Length-Value) is more convenient forextending function, it gradually become the mainstream IGP routing protocol.Routers at the core of the network must ensure the guidance of data forwarding andprotect the stability and security of the network. When network failure occurs, they can bequickly discovered and the network can achieve route convergence in a short time.Construct network topology must facilitate the future expansion and easier for networkadministrators to manage. The program selects hierarchical net work topology. Ensure thecritical business without interruption and not impact other routers in the network throughISIS GR (Graceful Restart) when ISIS routing protocol is restarted. Combine BFD(Bi-directional Forwarding Detection) technology to achieve fast reroute and fastconvergence, extend new TLV to support IPv6network. Meet the requirements of largenetwork routing number through the ISIS extended slice. Manage the routers in thenetwork through dynamic host name mechanism of ISIS. Ensure the safety of the route inthe IP bearer network through domain authentication and area authentication.With the understanding of ISIS protocol basis, and analyzing the demand of IP bearernetwork, design IP bearer network routing scheme from ISIS GR, fast route convergence,the expansion of the slice and network security, so it can meet the various needs of the IPbearer network well. Finally verify the application of ISIS in IP bearer network throughactual test cases and analyze the problems that may arise in the practical application, andgive the investigation and method.
