Because of its long life, low power consumption, high brightness, wide viewing area, etc.,LED display are widely used in airports, roads, railway stations, securities trading, outdooradvertising and other public places.Compared with LCD,LED low-cost, high brightness and can be assembled into thedesired size.Now,8-bit microprocessor are often used for the control of all kinds of large LEDdisplay screen,but because of some problems existed in these microprocessor system such asrunning speed,ability to address and power depletion,est.In some complex occasions,it isdifficult to satisfy large display area and the contents of display switched frequently,aiming atthe problems exists in large LED screen display system,relating to the advanced products ofmicroprocessor,control technology and communication technology.we adopted the new generation microprocessor based on ARM.The main content is theuse of embedded microprocessor LPC2114ARM as a controller,8-bit shift register74HC595for the data transmission line,16a data selector74HC154for column scan signals,multi-block large-screen LED protues done through simulation software display.
