| With the urbanization, information technology and agricultural modernizationdevelopment, the whole society is increasingly strong demand for electricity, whileChina’s energy shortage and environmental degradation are becoming increasinglyprominent. Demand side management (DSM) as an effective tool for energy saving, hasan important role in the construction of resource-saving, environment-friendly societyand sustainable development strategy. The main idea of the DSM is to make clientpower-savings as a resource for integrated planning. To increase the client powerefficiency is an important goal of the DSM. DSM requires electricity customers,government departments, power companies and energy service companies to worktogether to promote collaborative participation and guarantee DSM to achieve theintended purpose. Follow the idea, this paper designs and implements a power-orientedclient demand side management system, the main tasks are as follows:First, for the purpose of improving the efficiency of electricity consumption andin order to make customers fully understand their electricity consumption, this paperpresents overview of electricity, electricity breakdown, distributed energy, electricitytariffs, energy management and energy services as the six detailed services for thecustomer. According to consumption data, use the gray GM (1,1) model to predict thefuture power data. At the same time, for customer’s all electricity data, according to thetime of the year, month, day, and time of power consumption peaks, valleys and levels,power data statistics, analysis, comparison and management are given by this paper.Thus customers have a comprehensive and objective understanding of theirconsumption. That will help to make scientific electricity program and improve energyefficiency for the power customer.Second, to resolve information silos between the various participants of DSM, thispaper analyze the position and roles of the various participants in the DSM and establisha management model between the electricity customers, grid power companies,government departments and energy service companies. The model can make thevarious participants in the DSM to collaborate and achieve timely delivery ofinformation and sharing of information. The use of Web Services technology providesan interface to other management information systems to achieve data sharing, so as tosolve demand side management information on closed questions.Finally, focus on electricity customer, combined with grid enterprises, governmentdepartments and energy service companies in the DSM’s requirements analysis, andfrom system architecture, functional framework, database and other aspects, the papergives the detailed design of the client-oriented demand side management system. At the end, appropriate technology is selected to finish the system, the test of the system andthe summary of this paper are given. |
