Along with the increasing amount of information, it becomes a quick way to accessinformation through the way of the picture. And in our daily life,the number of graphicspresents explosive growth. The way of Graphic retrieval, therefore, will become an urgentproblem to solve, and how to organize and retrieve these information efficiently andquickly become critical.Starting from the analysis to the expression of modeling in the modeling grammarand the correlation characteristic of shape in computer graphics, the paper studied in detailand summarized such vital technique of graphic retrieval as graphic feature extraction anddescription of liquor, graphic similarity and graphical fitting. Modeling grammar is a formof deductive method, by which liquor shape spectrum can be built. How to use the form ofa spectrum combined with computer graphic retrieval, and find out an effective retrievalpath to optimize retrieval process, is the problem to be solved.By studying the reclassification of the shape of liquor under the thought of formspectrum, the paper made clear the relationship between the form of a spectrum and codelevel and put forward the shape spectrum based graphics retrieval. At the same time, a newmethod for the path retrieval was made for retrieval techniques in computer graphics. Thepicture information too rich, massive sample data difficult to achieve, computer is neededto achieve it. And through the study of computer graphics retrieval, automaticclassification can be realized, new categories will be formed, and finally automation codeupdate can be achieved. The focus of this paper is to use the shape grammar to design theliquor shape spectrum, and solve the problem of difficulty in feature extraction and patternfitting existed in the computer graphics retrieval. Therefore, this research results canreduce reliance on manual data collection, so that the work efficiency can be promoted,thus making the research meaningful.
