| With the development of radar signal processing technology, as well as continuousemergence of new stealth weapon, modern warfare puts forward higher requirement for thetarget detecting performance of radar, the detecting performance’s improving is largelydependent on the improvement of signal-to-noise ratio.The returned radar signal not onlyincludes a weak signal but a strong noise. Weak signal is often overwhelmed by the noise.Inthis case,only by improving the signal-to-noise ratio,the weak target signal could beseparated from the noise,and the target detecting performance could be improved.Videointegration is an important way to improve the signal-to-noise ratio,and this makes videointegration technology play an increasingly important role in radar signal processing.Firstly, the article summarizes the existing research results of radar video integrationtechnology;analyzes the factors impacting on integration,including antenna beam,targetcross sectional area,etc;simulates the relationship curve between video integration andintegration pulse number,probability of detection by MATLAB,under the non-fluctuatingtargets and the four fluctuating targets model of Swerling;confirms the fast fluctuatingtargets is easier detection than the slow fluctuating targets by comparing the simulation data.Secondly,the article studies the characteristic and implementation method of slide-window video integration and feedback video integration,puts forward solving method forthe existing problems.The feedback video integrators’s pole is easily cross unit circle,whichcould cause integrators unstable.Stability could be improved by the way of selecting twoequal poles or spliting the impulse response function. Traditional two-layer quantization islikely to cause quantization losses,so an integration way of multi-level integration isproposed,it can increase the performance of integration and detection.Various videointegrators has its own advantages and disadvantages.The article compares the performanceof various video integration in terms of stability,azimuth accuracy,azimuth resolution,signal-to-noise ratio’s improvement, tailing, suitability.The article also explores the problemof how to choose different video integrators according to the different requirements inpractical application.Finally,according to the project ofâ€General design of radar signal processing extensionâ€,the article analyzes the overall design of general radar signal processing extension,analyzesthe design of signal processing board assumed by myself,and it also makes a boundary scan test for the signal processing board.The software implementation of the video integrators ismade on the signal processing board which can achieve the function of integration anddetection. In order to improve the applicability of the signal processing extension,and makefull use of various video integrators’s advantages, an adaptive system of video integration isput forward. |
