The Vehicle Remote Servic is the vehicle monitoring center system platform which can automatically analyze and judge all vehicles’ running status, diagnose the various components of the vehicle whether they are in the normal operation, and send diagnostic reports to the monitoring personnel. According to the reports, the monitoring personnel can use the system platform to control and solve some of the problems of the vehicle remotely,or send information to the driver asking them to stop to troubleshoot in order to ensure traffic safety. But,to implement the vehicle remote service functions, the system must be designed to have the ability of collecting dynamic information of running vehicles,as well as being able to pass, process and calculate those massive data.In this thesis, the established of cloud computing platform based on Internet of Things can quickly and accurately ensure the vehicle data acquisition, transmission and processing, and provide the technical support for the development of intellectualized system. There is hope for solving the problems because of the concept of Internet of Things and Cloud Computing. The Internet of Things is a "connected" ubiquitous network, which is built on the basic of the Internet. The Internet of Things has the technical capacity of overall perception,in other word,it can collect all kinds of information about the vehicle during its procession by various sensors equipped around the vehicle. And it can send the mass of information timely and accurately combined with the Internet (wired or wireless). The Cloud Computing combines computer technology with network technology, and has a powerful data computing power and storage capacity. Therefore, the Cloud Computing not only can distribute the huge amount of data to the clusters of servers around the world, but also be able to collect data from the clusters of servers which are distributed around the world. More importantly, the Cloud Computing can send the user’ calculated storage work to the network "cloud",which can ensure the security of data without costing much money to buy computer devices. Therefore, the combination of Internet of Things and Cloud Computing technology provides a powerful data acquisition and processing capabilities for the vehicle GPS positioning system. This article first introduces the concept and development status of the Internet of Things and the Cloud Computing. Then it will further introduce the features and technical architecture of Internet of Things and Cloud Computing in order. According to this,we can learn that the combination of Internet of Things and Cloud Computing technology is an interconnected platform which, provides huge amounts of data and complete service, and can solve the problems of data acquisition and data processing of the vehicle remote service system well. Later, the paper analyzes the current problems that exist in the vehicle GPS positioning system. So,the system developed on the base of those problems should be established as a full-featured,easy to operate, simple and stable system. At the same time,we determine the functions of the system. Then, the paper describes the preparations on the eve of system development, including the choice of the electronic map, program development environment and key technologies. On the basis of these,we develop the overall framework and the development process of the system. At last,The paper describes the implementation process of various features in system in detail. The author designes and implements the vehicle remote service system’s management platform using ASP.NET,Google Map API V3and Adobe Photoshop CS3.After being modified for several times, the mature system runns stably and smoothly, every functional modules coming to be normal. Now,it has been come into widespread use.
