Landslide disaster occurs frequently in China, Such geological disasters not only endangerhuman life, also caused huge material losses. Before the landslide occurred, rock mass structurelose stability and accompanied by a large number of a certain frequency of acoustic emissionsignal. In this paper, by using acoustic emission technology for collecting the signal, analyzingthe signal; and based on serial device server, design of a network of acoustic emissionmonitoring system, remote access, disasters of rock instability precursory information, so as toachieve the purpose of hazard prediction and warning.Firstly we introduce the research background and significance, reviews the present researchstate of acoustic emission technology, aiming at the existing acoustic emission detectionproblems, presents a design of multi-channel acoustic emission monitoring system based onserial device server. Secondly introduces the serial device server and its working principle, andthe multiple network schemes of the system based on serial device server are analyzed andcompared, according to the actual application requirements, proposed scheme of a balanced. Andthen introduced the system overall, analyzed the function and design requirements of eachfunction module of the system. Finally the system communication protocol is designed, by usingWinform framework design of.NET environment to achieve the upper acoustic emissionmonitoring system.Through the serial device server and acoustic emission technology, this paper realizes theacoustic emission monitoring system based on network, an effective solution to the traditionalacoustic emission detection system with limited hardware resources, monitoring scope is narrow, the problem of data transmission distance.
