| With the rapid development of economy in these years, our country has gotten a great boom in commercial bank’s retail credit industry and credit service for estimating personal credit score. Personal credit industry and personal credit risk estimation service is becoming the focus of competition in financial markets due to their huge market potential and relatively high expected revenue. Consumer loans are regarded as the important part of business in many commercial banks’strategy. Though personal credit risk estimation has been well considered and applied widely abroad, low quality with retail credit risk estimation and backward estimation technologies are existing in most commercial banks of our country. Therefore, commercial banks have to build scientific, intelligent and practical personal credit scoring system, so as to make objective estimation with personal credit situation, support banks’retail credit decision and promote this industry.Credit scorecard is a common tool applied in bank’s risk management. It can predict the customers’future performance and make sequencing for them. This paper develops a personal credit scorecard model, based on an introduction of technology project in some commercial bank, following the theory of retail credit and combining the practical work of personal credit. Furthermore, the retail credit scorecard information system is designed and developed according to the idea of software engineering. Through the implement of this project the business fellows can input business data, get customers’credit score and store them via system interfaces.The project’s aim, background and significance are discussed firstly in this paper. Then based on literature review about credit scorecard and summaries about the experience for designing and developing bank decision-making information system both at home and abroad, building a scorecard system for commercial bank’s retail credit business which meets some city bank’s requirement is proposed. SCORECARD methodology is applied in building the credit scorecard model which can predict the customers’future performance by using the project bank’s history data. After that, the work for developing the software is done. The detail works are discussed one by one, they are analysing for project software’s requirement, designing the logic function structure, confirming the software’s web architecture and the developing configurations for hardware and software, making the database system, implementing technology for system security, and the programming. Finally, the software system is tested via some indictors when it is running. |
