21st century lays great emphasis on “people first”andHuman Resource Management,(hereafter referred to as HRM) has become one of theessential links. The organizations of personnel in a college are complicated and dealwith many daily affairs. The high frequency of talent flow nowadays also increases thecomplexity of how to do HRM better in college and we should solve the matterimmediately. There are relatively mature HRM systems, but it is not easy to find onewhich is fit for college.This article, on the basis of the actual situation of faculty management of Lanzhoupetrochemical vocational and technical college, analyzes the present situation and thedemand of its HRM System via studying of domestic and foreign development situationof the personnel management system. The author has developed a set of personnelmanagement system of colleges based on B/S (Browser/Server) mode in view of thecontradiction of present system which can not fully satisfy for effective management ofstaff information, for instance, poor stability, out of date, over-closed system, limitedaccess and traffic, short of data backup function, unable to recover the data, short ofStatistical Function and so on.Compared with the traditional C/S (Client/Server) mode, this system has high datasecurity, good consistency, real time response and is not subject to regional restriction,etc. This system takes Lanzhou petrochemical vocational and technical college campusnetwork and dedicated server as a platform, by setting the different access permissionsto access the system so as to facilitate real-time control, update the staff information.This article mainly states from the following aspects: the demand analysis,system design, detailed design, system implementation, testing and maintenance.System mainly realizes the following main features:1. the classification of staff andmanagement, including staff recruitment, registration, transfer and dismissal, query andother related information;2. wage distribution and professional title evaluation,including job wages, allowances and benefits, evaluation of title, etc.;3. the staffinformation updates, including information such as age, education level andworking-age changes, the information can be exported and printed.Finally, the role in college personnel management of this system is analyzed in this article through the operation of this system. Meanwhile, the opinions and suggestionson late maintenance and upgrade are given. In the end, the application prospect of thesystem is discussed.
