Student registration and payment is the primary task for each school in eachsemester. However, the traditional manual way to deal with student registration andpayment is not only with a low efficiency, but also poor confidentiality. With thedevelopment of the educational cause, the number of those people who eager to accepteducation has been growing. Meanwhile, the opportunity to receive education has beenalso increasing. In order to adapt to the expansion of the teaching scale, the efficiency ofthe work must be improved, and the traditional manual management model must bereplaced by management information system. In this thesis, a student registration andpayment system was designed and implemented, according to the actual situation ofself-study examination tutorship classes of Fujian Normal University.Firstly, the actuality of the self-study examination tutorship classes was analyzed,and the self-study examination tutorship class of Fujian Normal University wasintroduced emphatically in this thesis. Secondly, the core technologies involved and therelated knowledge in process for the student registration and payment implementingwere introduced one by one. B/S model,.NET Framework, Visual Studio2010,ASP.NET4, C#language and SQL Server2008database were included in the coretechnology. The requirements of student registration and payment system was analyzedand completed from two aspects, functional requirements and non-functionalrequirements. Module partition method, one of the commonly used methods in thesoftware development process, was used for dividing the system modules. The entityrelationship diagram (Entity Relationship, ER) was used for designing databaseconceptual model and physical model of student registration and payment system. Inorder to ensure the security, reliability, practicality, expansibility and maintainability ofthe system, good programming style and strategy was adopted in the process of coding.Finally, the pictures of operation effect of the system’s main function module and thecore code was provided. Function test was carried on the system according to thesoftware engineering thought, which verified the effectiveness of the systemdevelopment work further.During the process of student registration and payment system’s design andimplementation, the business process for registration and payment of self-study examination tutorship classes of Fuzhou University and students’ computer professionalskills were considered carefully. The thesis’ fundamental starting point was set to dealwith the low efficiency, large work amount and error-prone problems of the traditionalmanual way. With the friendly user interface, convenience could be brought to themanagement work of self-study examination tutorship classes of Fujian NormalUniversity, where the good practical value of the system was shown.
