| With the development of College of Adult Education of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, the number of students increased dramatically. The management of student information constitutes a major part of the work of school. Recording the myriads of information manually could largely impair the efficiency. For instance, one needs to review all students’file in order to find the information of a certain student in the traditional way of management, which is extremely inconvenient, not to mention to process the information.To solve this problem, under the guidance of the theory of software engineering, this thesis proposes a management system catering to institutions of higher learning, in order to promote efficiency and lighten the workload. The thesis is composed of three parts as follows:Firstly, the requirement analysis of the management system and discussions with managers and students help decide the overall structure, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements of the system. By using the tools in UML, it is feasible to conduct detailed analysis to every function module in the system.Secondly, based on the requirement analysis of the management system, the design of the system can be accomplished, including the design of back-end database, foreground user interface and function module and network structure etc.Thirdly, the system should be tested before put to use. First of all, it is necessary to actualize the function models of the system one by one (including the interface and core algorithm). Then functional test and performance test should be conducted on function models separately.The student information management system proposed in the thesis could promote the efficiency of managers, improve the management of school, and facilitate the operation of school. |
