Radar plays an important role in the field of modern defense and military. As the constant progress of electronic technology and the radar system, the traditional maintenance can not meet radar’s needs any more. They must look for an automated way. Types of circuit unit Variety, enormous data volume, radar need high-precision test equipment instruments to complete the work. Types of circuit unit types, the huge amount of data, and the need for high-precision test equipment, in many areas, traditional test equipment has failed to meet radar’s requirements. In general, given the characteristics of UTT, test instruments and products bus consideration, performance, price and types are included, single bus test system no longer meet the test requirements of actual needs. It requires us to build a multi-bus integration test system.Make full use of the existing resources multiple-bus system use domestics and international advanced technology, object the design principles of versability, reliability, stability, economics, supplements a focus on VXI bus instrument with other interface forms of equipment, adopt the test form of combination of hardware and software to realize cost-effective, practical and advanced testing systemThis paper studied that the VXI bus as the prime consideration and combining multi-bus presence, test object based on the radar circuit unit then designed the automatic test system for radar circuit unit of virtual instrument based on VXI bus type multiple Field bus coexist. According to the testing requirements and the standard of the VXI specification and the use of FPGA technology to design characteristics of the DA amplifier module. And it describes the module function, working principle, realizing method and hardware circuit design. According to the UUT test requirements, design a professional interface adapter to match the signal interface of system testing. The test system software development platform use Labwindows/CVI, Databases and VISA technology to design test system software, DA zoom module soft panel, self-test software modules, test systems, automated testing software, data management and reporting generation module are included. The test system software used the design methods of universal software structure framework to make testing software system has the versatility, convenience and reusability features.
