| Recently, Telecom operators intensify the deployment of the LTE network, and the Distributed Base Station will be Widely used in the process of network construction, which divide into two parts, Base Band Unit(BBU) and Radio Remote Unit(RRU). China Mobile put forward the demand of IR interface to support effective data transmittion between BBU and RRU. The LTE Ir interface protocol layer1and layer2follow the Common Public Radio Interface(CPRI) protocol and at the same time constrian some content to ensure mutual operability between BBU and RRU, the layer3define the interactive procedure and message definition, so we can configure and inquiry the RRU by BBU. This paper firstly analyse the present situation of the wireless communication network, introduce the conception of Distributed Base Station and some key technology, and then it describe the CPRI protocol, simultaneously realize the Ir interface system of BBU side based on FPGA, on the one hande it recommend some type of FPGA chips and introduce the serdes, on the other hand it divide the Ir interface system into RocketIO_top module, optical interface module, uplink deframer module, dowmlink comframer module, RGMII module, uplink interface module, downlink interface module and so on. At last, it finish the function simulation of Ir system by modelsim, moreover it estimate the Ir system in the real test environment and analyse the problem in the process of experiment, following it put forward corresponding improving measure. |
