Today, as the information technology locates the advancing front of the science and technology development, life changes everywhere. The proof of more convenient life during to the development of science and technology gradually appears around us. High-tech although make our life pleasant, but inevitably brings about hidden safety problems, which may provide convenience for the crime. The traditional door lock cannot better meet the needs of today’s society. Based on this demand, intelligent access control system enters people’s field of vision, which promotes a defense system safety and plays an indispensable role for people’s convenient life.In this paper the intelligent entrance guard system based on radio frequency identification is researched and designed, with reference to field experience, for purpose of designing a cheap system for college teaching. The circuit is finally completed after the research and the introduction of the design process.During the writing of this thesis, the design and research of Mifare1reader software and hardware is completed. The hardware design based on MF RC500chip,which is the main circuit of the system. The whole circuits include the clock circuit, RC500power supply circuit, microcontroller interface circuit and antenna drive circuit. The51MF microcontrollers can carry out RC500reading and writing, LCD displaying; keyboard scanning, serial communication and microcontroller development work.
