Among all kinds of application on ultraviolet detection, ultraviolet warning system based on solar-blind region develops fastest. It has characteristics of simple structure, high sensitivity, good imperceptibility and low false alarm rate. It is widely used in the military field applications.The development of ultraviolet warning system at home and abroad is introduced in this paper. Ultraviolet optics transmitting characteristic is analyzed. The principle of ultraviolet warning system and the classification of ultraviolet detector are also presented. The scheme of ultraviolet target simulation system is proposed. The ultraviolet objective of transmitting and receiving optical system are designed respectively.Ultraviolet target simulation system adopts the mode of near-field simulation. The formula of surface illumination is used to estimate the real distance between the target and ultraviolet warning system. The refractive ultraviolet collimator of transmitting system has the characteristics of long focal, big aperture, good collimation. The receiving system is composed of large field of view and large relative aperture optical system. The spot size is small, illumination is uniformed, the energy concentration is high that can meet the requirement of image quality.
