This not only affect the school’s teaching and scientific researchlevel, but also influence the future development of a school.In this paper, we analyzed the problems existed in the current work of counselors,compared various office automation system at China and abroad, and combined with thecurrent development of computer technology,then we developed the Counselors’ workmanagement system to solve the above problems.This article will divided theCounselors’ work management system into three functional modules: the studentmanagement, the work of classes management and the system management. ourCounselors’ work management system was a better combination of the existing officeautomation management systems and student information management system.Counselors’ work management system is a management software we developedfor dealing a large number of daily work the counselors may encounter. It is a typicalmanagement information system. We depended on the actual requirements and thespecific work of counselors, developed this management system that is conducive forthe counselors’ daily work and student work.This system uses the Eclipse integrated development environment for developing,uses Java as the development language. As for database, we use the MySQL database for data storing and dealing. The develop pattern based on the B/S structure of theMVC pattern. In this paper, we describe the process of development in detail, includingbackground of development, design of the functional modules, logical database designof the system and the table design, the detailed realization of various functional modules,the system testing and so on.
