Design And Implementation Of Labs Computer Automatic Management And Maintenance Systems

HPS means HDD Protection System or hard disk protection system. Nowadays,network version HPS is widely used for the daily management and maintenance ofcomputer equipments in most computer labs. Because this kind of HPS relies on its ownhardware conditions too much, it has some limitations of centralized managementcapabilities. For example it cannot realize centralized management to the operatingsystem, applications, user behavior and system real-time safety monitoring. Theselimitations make HPS cannot ensure computers work stably and safely in the actualapplication. HPS also cannot meet the requirement of managing computer equipmentwith high efficiency and high quality.To compensate for the weakness of HPS, this thesis bases on the HPS existingcomputer labs and research the software about the automated management andmaintenance system in computer labs. The mainly research contents of this thesis are asfollows:1. Management of hardware and network parameters. It mainly researchesautomatically collecting hardware and network parameters; automatically assigning thecomputer name, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS and other parameters; IPaddress and MAC address binding, preventing from illegal modifying networkparameters; abnormal computer fast positioning.2. Registry and process management. It mainly researches registry backup,restoring and monitoring; automated collection process; management processes, such asautomatic identification of legal process, ending the illegal process, and manuallyadding legitimate processes, etc., in order to achieve the purpose of maintaininglaboratory discipline.3. Application automatically distillation management. It mainly researchescentralized and automatic installing applications, including automatic installation andregistration; automatically added as a legal process and so on.4. Real-time security warning and maintenance management. It mainly researchesreal-time early warning of Trojan virus on the basis of the original stand-alone versionof antivirus software in the labs; real time warning of illegally modified computerconfiguration parameters or network parameters; parts of hardware fault warning; parts of hardware fault warning; abnormal processing automatic handling functions orproviding reference scheme.5. Hardware guarding against theft and abnormal management. Its mainly researchis that through remote wake-up function, collecting and recording the hardwareinformation before the users use the hardware, collecting and recording the informationagain after the users use the hardware, then compare two records, if the records aredifferent, it means that they are abnormal and there will be an abnormal alarm.6. User rights management. It mainly researches information management,equipment permissions and using record of the users.The advantage of the software is that the original computer hardware and softwareresources in computer labs can be fully used of, better management and maintenanceeffect can be achieved, duplication investment of software resources and large costs oflaboratory management and maintenance can be prevented.
