Abstract:With the rapid development of Internet technology, enterprises and public service units open more and more branches and remote sites and business grows rapidly. The vast majority of government departments and enterprises will stored the information in the database. It will take a lot of cross-domain data to transmit through network. The database information transfer protocol acceleration technique in the WAN play an increasingly larger role in people’s work. Therefore, this paper researches the database information transfer protocol and design the plugin of protocol acceleration. The main contents are described as follows.First of all, this paper introduces the current research status of database optimization technique, and focuses on the analysis of the communication protocol TDS which is used by SQL Server database and Sybase database, including the format, semantic, interactive process and gets the full understanding of the features of the protocol.Secondly, on the base of protocol analysis, according to the features of data packets, this paper designs the whole structure of TDS accelerated plugin. By using the accelerated strategy of pre-fetching and caching, the TDS accelerating function is implemented. Simultaneously, this paper detailed describes the work flow and function of modules in the plugin system, and describes the key technique which is used in the development process, such as memory pool technique, pre-fetching and caching technique, and plugin system development technique.Then, this paper describes the test environment, and simulates the real wide-area network environment over a wide area network simulator WANem. This paper demonstrates the comparative data before and after the acceleration in the environment of WAN. Results show that the time of data transmission after acceleration is greatly reduced, and the transmission rate is increased outstandingly. At the same time, using the TNS protocol in Oracle as an example, this paper discusses the feasibility of other Database protocols optimization.Finally, the research of work of this thesis is summarized, and the future research work is prospected.
