The Research And Implementation Of Software Project Management System

The research and implementation of the system is to solve the problems of a growingnumber of company’s internal software projects, increasingly heavy management and theoutdated pure manual management. Combining with the characteristics of the softwareproject itself, the system informationizes and systematizes project managers’ dailymanagement with the main line of project requirement, cost, progress and task in theprocess of software project management. Besides, the project information is transparentlypresented to senior management personnel, which can supervise and control projectsconveniently.Under the guidance of software engineering idea, adopting the method of traditionalwaterfall software project development, the system mainly experiences project research,project plan, requirement analysis, system design, system coding and system test. Duringthe project research, I analyzed the existing software project management at home andabroad, learned their good ideas and experiences, and conducted a survey of systemconstruction related technology and chose the technology suitable for the system; during theproject planning phase, I made progress plan, resource plan, risk plan, etc for the wholeproject; during the requirement analysis, I conducted demand interviews to projectmanagers, project members and managers of the company involving in the system,collecting their system requirements; during the system design stage, I made the overalldesign of the system and detailed design which lay a good foundation for subsequent coding;during the system coding phase, I completed the coding and unit testing; during the systemtest, I did function test and performance test. It took me7months to build the project;finally, it reached the expected target through system test.The management system of the project mainly contains the management of project cost,project requirements, project task and project progress. Among them, project costmanagement mainly contains the cost plan of human change and human actual investment function; project requirement management conducts hierarchical management on projectrequirement, and sets various properties&change management of requirements; projecttask management mainly contains the functions of adding, deletion, update, query,close/activation and decomposition function, and realizes the task tracking; project progressmanagement mainly contains the maintenance of progress tree&progress property, andcorrelation functions between progress and tasks, and tracking function of progress.Based on Spring frame, the system adopts B/S mode, combining Ajax front-enddisplay technology and JDBC database access technology, to conduct construction;back-end database adopts MySQL, running on Tomcat web application server that is inWindows or linux environment.Up till now, the system has been completed and can operate normally, which helpenterprises to better manage software projects and reduce the workload of project managers.It has gained the concordant identification from users.
