Concentration of acid alkali and salt solution is an important parameteramong all areas of our lives-industrial, food and medical. Traditional measuremethods cost much time and money, can’t real-time and online measure, thephase detecting transmitter can solve these disadvantages. This paper hascompleted the following work:1. Putted forward a new method that is to measure the concentration of acidalkali and salt solution by detecting ultrasonic phase. After compared thetraditional methods, choose phase detecting method to measure concentration,according to the physicochemical property of these solution.2. Designed the configuration of ultrasonic sensor. This transmitter usedtwo couples of transceiver sensor, which center frequency is200KHz and bothare waterproof. One group was placed in water and another placed in measuringliquid. Two sensors in the same group was placed in a line and have the samedistance.3. Designed the hardware circuits of the transmitter. PIC16F883MCU isthe control unit. Hardware circuits include ultrasonic sensor driving circuit,signal receiving and processing circuit, power circuit, display circuit andmeasuring temperature circuit etc.4. Designed the software of the transmitter. The software is composed ofmain controlling module, temperature measuring, A/D converting, dataprocessing and infrared calibrating module. These entire modules made thetransmitter work well.This transmitter can overcome the shortage of traditional measure methodsand measure the concentration accurately by detecting the phase of the ultrasonicsignal, has practical extending application value.
