| In the face of changing market demand, product updates faster and faster, which makes the competitiveness of traditional enterprise gradually lose. A new virtual manufacturing technology emerges as the requirement of times. However, the virtual manufacturing technology increases the amount of all kinds of data, technology files and other information resources in the process of product design, and the effective information exchange lacks between system software and technology. Product data management (PDM) technology applied to the virtual manufacturing can manage the product data in safely, reasonably and efficiently way, and can avoid the multiple backup of data, which provides the platform and bridge of information transmission for achieving the integrated management of enterprise information. Therefore, the study on product data management technology towards virtual manufacturing has important practical value.In this paper, because the technology of virtual manufacturing in enterprise appears the problems and the PDM applied to the virtual manufacturing is important, the thought of product data management technology towards virtual manufacturing is put forward. The application system structure of VPDM towards object was built in a relational database system. The structure comprises the support layer, the management layer of integration module, the application layer of function module and the user interface layer, and the characteristics and functions of each structure module are analyzed. According to the detailed study of the characteristics and advantages of XML modeling technology, the product information model in VPDM system is established, and the XML mode of VPDM information model is analyzed. The types of BOM views and their mutual relations are studied, and the dynamic conversion from EBOM view to MBOM view is achieved by the methods of adopting depth-first and preorder traversal EBOM. A composite BOM construction method is proposed by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of single-layer BOM structure and multi-layer BOM structure, and the practicability of the composite BOM structure is analyzed. A modified multi-level BOM traversal algorithm is studied. Compared with the traditional recursive lookup method and the hierarchical search method, the modified algorithm includes the advantages of fast speed, low resource occupation and high practicality, and the efficiency of the modified algorithm in practical application is verified by an example. Based on VC++development platform, combined with the researches of the overall architecture and functional modules of the system, the product data management system towards virtual manufacturing has developed.The study on product data management technology towards virtual manufacturing integrates the information in the distributed heterogeneous environment and effectively manages the interactive dynamic data, which achieves the rapid communication among the various systems and the cooperation across the enterprise and the section. It not only accelerates the pace that the enterprise marches toward the information age, but also provides the positive role for the adjustment of the market industry structure. |
