Ad Hoc network has broken the confinement of traditional networks such as cellular system that they need the support of fixed infrastructure to complete communications between terminals. With its advantage of self-organization, no center and flexible structure, Ad Hoc network become an attracting choice in scenarios where there can’t establish fixed infrastructure, need temporary network, or vehicle network. Hence, Ad Hoc network get continuous attention from scientific researchers. The study of Ad Hoc network is based on mobility model. To build the mobility model that can reflect real scene according to the fact to the greatest degree, become the premise of research work. This paper focuses on mobility model of Ad Hoc network and related properties. The main innovation points covered in the content are summarized as follows:First of all, based on the summary of mobility model and the research hotpot in recent years, this paper puts forward a mobility model for mobile nodes with social properties which is called Attracting Group Mobility Model (AGM). A markov state transfer diagram is used to describe the movement pattern of mobile nodes in AGM. This mobility model can do a good simulation of humans or other animal behavior rule and the characteristics of inertia. This mobility model could also be suitable for various scenarios where mobile nodes has trend to cluster around some hot pots through simply changing some model parameters.Second, this paper gives AGM the theoretical derivation and simulation analysis of inhomogeneity upper bound of mobile nodes spatial distribution using traditional inhomogeneity measure. And when analyzing the properties of AGM, we found that traditional inhomogeneity measure has defects when used in clustered spatial distribution. In order to give the spatial node distribution a better description, we put forward a modified inhomogeneity measure based on Euclidean distance. And this paper gives it a preliminary theoretical analysis. Then, the analysis in theory and simulation verified the superiority of the modified inhomogeneity measure than the traditional one.
