Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of the digital circuit and image processing technology, dynamic and on-site monitoring has gotten a very high sensitivity and reliability. The video surveillance system is now widely used. A local vedio data acquisition and processing subsystem is the key unit in designing a video surveillance system.This paper presents a whole scheme of a vedio data acquisition and processing subsystem. The hardware platform design and implementation based on a PXA310as the core processor unit are described more detail.The embedded video data acquisition and processing system described in this paper is based on Marvell’s PXA310processor, which is selected as the CPU to build the hardware platform. An open source operating system Andriod is adopted as the software platform. Firstly, this paper describes the overall hardware platform scheme including project functional analysis and the consideration for choosing a core processor. Secondly, the design of each unit circuit of the embedded video data acquisition and processing subsystem is introduced, including the core processor, power management, memory unit, TF memory card circuit, wireless modem circuit, clock circuit, debug interface-JTAG circuit, etc. Necessary circuits for testing and application interface in this hardware platform are also described. Thirdly, this paper presents PCB design technology. An eight-layer PCB is used in designing the hardware platform. This article briefly describes the multilayer PCB design technology for high-speed digital circuit and the wiring plan, including the main processor-PXA310’s layering recommendation and wiring methods of clock circuitry, digital signal circuit and power supply. Finally, this paper describes the hardware debugging environment and debugging process. In combining with the designed software platform, the test results are given at the end of the paper.The design of this hardware platform has been successfully used for the system software debugging, testing results show that the overall design presented in this article is reasonable.
