Network Control System is the closed-loop control system which is made up by sensors, controllers and actuators agencies which communicates with each other through the network, it combines the technologies of computer network and automatic control and so on, and has been widely used in the field of industrial control, home automation, building automation and many other areas. Network control system has a lot advantages than traditional control systems, like be able to do the controlling at any time in any where, centralized management of the disrupt resources and data, etc. The difficulty of the development and construction of net control system is also tougher than the traditional ones, like connect the object to the network and fix the transmission delay problems. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce the design of a DC motor speed control system based on the internet, which makes the controllers and the objects connect to the internet in different places, and then exchange data through the network. In addition, a server is added to the system to mange the controllers and objects to make it possible for multiple control procedures running at the same time. The content of this paper is made up by the architecture of the system, the design of the server software, the design of the controller software and the design of hardware and software of the object subsystem which is based on the STM32microprocessor and the1wIP TCP/IP protocol stack, and the last part is the most difficult one in the design of the system, which is also the emphasis of the paper. The system supports multiple control procedures running at the same time, and the controllers can call any control algorithms for the closed-loop control experiments, and all the data can be stored. The last part of the paper design and record the experiments of PID control and system identification based on step response, which certifies the practical applicability of the system, and proves that it has achieved the requirement of the design.
