Surface Electromyographic (sEMG) is neuromuscular activity bio-electric signals which is recorded from human skeletal muscles by the via electrodes, and is a complex bio-electrical signals which are electric wave from muscle contraction. It reflects the function of nerve and muscle. As a non-invasive and telemetry EMG detection method, sEMG has become a focus in clinical diagnosis, rehabilitation medicine, bio-mechanical, and many other areas. This paper study the main muscle electromyography of lower limbs when the subjects complete activities of daily living(ADLs),. Through observation and lookup, conclude7daily life activities of lower limb, there are standing to sitting, sitting to standing, standing to squatting, squatting to standing, walking, stairs up, and stairs down; according to muscle’s location and function of the lower limb in human anatomy,6muscles are determined, respectively for:Rectus, Vastus Medians, lateral muscle, lateral gastrocnemius, tibialis anterior, soleus. Extracting EMG parameters AEMG (Average electromyography, AEMG) as well as the activation time for data processing. Study on normal body lower limb muscle function and active while completing ADLs; design reference can be provided for myoelectric prosthetic bionic control and pattern recognition, a basis for judgement can be provided in medical diagnosis, rehabilitation for the elderly and the disable. This paper presented surface electromyography studying on lower limb activities of daily living, get normal human muscle state law while completing activities of daily living activities of the, have a certain significance for muscle function assessment in ADLs, and evaluation of the activities is from qualitative to quantitative, there is well meaning for future research on ADLs.
