With today’s increasing development of science and technology, more and more strict requirement of production process are needed by all walks of life. However, the traditional way of measurement can’t meet the demand of people who require precision tools. Non-contact, digital, high-precision and high-sensitivity of modern Laser rangefinder triangle method has become the main trend of measurement industry.Based on the principle of the direct laser triangulation measurement, we use linear array CCD to collect image information. The analog signal is transformed into digital signal by amplifying circuit, low pass filtering and binarization processing circuit. Then the single-chip computer process the data and display the output. Finally the range of this laser ranging system reached to42mm and the measurement accuracy to18um.First, according to the principle of laser triangulation ranging method, measuring system, data acquisition and processing system have been designed. And then we have selected the required components according to the overall structure components, including the semiconductor laser, the collimation system, the imaging system and CCD device. Finally we have completed the spot position measurement based on single chip microcomputer. At the same time, we have analyzed system error and put forward the improvement proposals.
